# Fake wallet solution

#### What is a fake wallet? <a href="#id-0" id="id-0"></a>

Fake wallets, that is, unofficial versions, are usually decompiled using official versions of APK, and have settings added to obtain private key mnemonics. When users download the fake wallet, install it, and import private keys or mnemonics, these private keys or mnemonics will be automatically synchronized to the server of the thief, allowing the other party to easily monitor or transfer assets.

#### The dangers of fake wallets <a href="#id-1" id="id-1"></a>

The fake wallet will steal and monitor the private key or mnemonic phrase of the imported or created address. If a large amount of assets is found, it will automatically steal them. If it is a TRON wallet, it will automatically transfer 100trx and perform malicious multi-signature. If you continue to use the address imported or generated by the fake wallet in the genuine wallet, your assets will eventually be stolen.

#### Fake wallet solution <a href="#id-2" id="id-2"></a>

1\. Download genuine software and create a wallet through official channels such as the official website or Google Play;

2\. Quickly transfer assets that have been created or imported into a wallet using a fake wallet, because small-amount operations will not be directly stolen;

3\. Abandon all wallet addresses that have been used for fake wallets;
