**Please note:**

1\) Since you downloaded a fake wallet, your wallet private key and mnemonic phrase have been leaked. Please do not use the current wallet address. At the same time, some fake wallets will prohibit users from transferring assets. If the mining fee is sufficient but the transfer cannot be made, it is recommended that you abandon the assets in the fake wallet.

Why can StarTower officials remind users through pop-up windows in fake wallets?

At present, all fake wallets on the market are implemented by modifying the official StarTower APK, which is why there is almost no difference in page design between fake wallets and genuine wallets. Scammers modify the user's private key and mnemonic storage logic by tampering with the genuine wallet APK, thereby controlling and transferring user assets, thereby achieving the purpose of stealing assets.

In addition to the malicious tampering of the storage logic of the private key mnemonics, the scammers did not make any other changes, so the fake wallet users can normally see the pop-up information released by the official in the wallet. Therefore, the pop-up reminder is one of the important channels for StarTower officials to help users escape from the fake wallet scam.

The third parties here include: friends, relatives, fake customer service, etc.

2\. The user wallet is only controlled by the private key mnemonic. If you lose your assets due to downloading a fake wallet,StarTower will not be able to help you recover your assets.
