Use StarTower Wallet to transfer BRC-20, one step faster

Use StarTower to transfer BRC20 assets in one click, twice as fast as others. Come and experience it.

For a long time, we needed to engrave before transferring BRC20 assets on the chain. Only after the engraving was completed could the assets be transferred to other addresses. This process consumed a lot of time and cost.

The BRC20 asset transfer function supported by StarTower combines the cumbersome steps into one, making it simple and allowing the entire transfer process to be completed in one go. This integrated design not only improves the efficiency of the operation, but also gives the user experience a new look. Now, StarTower has fully supported the display, transfer and price of BRC-20 assets, and you can enjoy a more convenient and fast transfer experience.

Collection of BRC-20 assets

Open StarTower and click the [Receive] menu. In the receiving interface, you can use the receiving address to receive BRC-20 assets. You can click to select four different Bitcoin address types. (brc-20 assets can only be received using the Taproot address type)

Transfer of BRC-20 assets

Android version 1.9.5 already supports the display, price and transfer of BRC-20 assets. Just click on the asset you want to transfer, and you will see the [Available Balance], [Transferable Balance], [Market Price] and other information displayed in the details.

The transfer of BRC-20 assets is quite special. In the past, the transfer operation required the available assets to be engraved into an inscription that can be transferred, and then the inscription was sent to the other party's address. This required two steps and would take a long time to wait when the BTC network was congested, which was very inconvenient in operation. Now StarTower has simplified the transfer operation of BRC-20 assets, merging the two-step operation into one signed transaction, making the transfer more convenient. In the specific execution process, it can be divided into three transfer scenarios.

Scenario 1: Transferring out transferable assets (engraved, not transferred)

Because BRC-20 transfers need to be engraved first, you may have to wait for a long time during this process. After the engraving is completed, you will see the [Transferable Balance] when you import it into StarTower, which means that only half of the transfer has been completed. If we only need to transfer it out, then we only need to check this option. In the [Transfer Amount] at the bottom, you can see the data of the first and third options. Click Next, select the receiving address and set the appropriate mining fee before transferring.

Scenario 2: Transferring available assets (not engraved)

In the transfer amount interface, you can view the [Available Balance] option. These assets are assets that have not been engraved. If we need to transfer these assets to others, we only need to set the amount in the quantity column, and the corresponding parameter changes can be seen in the [Transfer Amount] at the bottom. Then, in the next step, select the receiving address and set the appropriate mining fee before transferring.

The general method of transferring unengraved assets is: the first step is to engrave a transfer inscription, and the second step is to transfer this inscription to the recipient to complete the BRC-20 transfer. StarTower simplifies this process, integrating these two steps into one transaction signature to complete the transfer of BRC-20 assets, which is more efficient and convenient to operate.

Scenario 3: Combined selection of assets to be transferred out

This scenario data is a mixed asset transfer type, which includes BRC-20 assets that have been inscribed but not transferred and BRC-20 assets that have not been inscribed. The total transfer amount at the bottom will add the amounts of these two and display them together.
